I love visiting the cuties they keep penned up on this guys property 😊 I love how they will live on this super happy farm and get taken care of until their throats are slit and their heads are chopped off before being dismembered and sold for parts!
But only after getting a bolt through their skull to daze them, that way it’s not abusive!😝
Sounds like these cows are closer to pets.
Probably not the place for this but I saw dexter and that’s not a breed mentioned very often. Dexters are dual purpose breeds raised for milk or meat, they have rather short legs. My younger brother had a Dexter cow for 5years, he milked and showed her for 4-H. On average she provided almost a gallon of milk a day. He had to sell her when he left for college.
Cows are great. Especially baby cows. They’re so goofy and jubilant.
Plus beef jerky is simple and delicious. It’s all gravy.
