This is a new domain on an IP that was fairly recently assigned to it. All main email providers blacklist anything that is not gmail, outlook or aws by default. Nothing I can do about it, other than becoming part of the problem and paying them to host this instance’s email.
I created an account yesterday, and didn’t receive an email. When trying to log in, nothing happens, but the page receives a 400 error.
You’re right. I’ve tried sending an email and it arrives to my personal server, but gmail outright refuses to even accept it. Will have a look on how to solve it.
Thanks for your reply, so it’s a gmail issue after all :/
I too have tried to sign up to no avail. I just never receive any emails for verification. I’ve used both gmail and a custom domain on Google workspace (actually thinking of migrating that to mailbox.org or protonmail)
I used proton mail and had no problem signing up
I have some bigger plans for email setup, but will still have a look at a more thorough setup. Don’t have an ETA, unfortunately - life stuff is a big busy at the moment.
No worries at all. I’m patient :). As a former sysadmin and current Cloud Systems Architect, I understand. I’m going to migrate one of my domains off of Gmail to a new host to trial it and I’ll try using that email once I get that done. Thanks for hosting this because I don’t have the time to currently. :)
Wish I’d seen this earlier. I signed up with a Gmail account >_<
All unverified accounts a wiped after 24 hours. You can try again once that’s passed.
I appreciate that. :) I was able to move a domain over to protonmail and it worked this time for me. Thanks!
Host my own email as well and received it just fine.
Children, this is why we use proton.me
Gmail is such garbage
