I was at a museum with my son when I saw the breaking news on my phone. I kept seeing people high five each other, and hugging each other, saying things like “He’s guilty!” or “They did it!”.
So many cool ones to choose from, but I’m now 40something, and ever since I learned about Dinosaurs in the late 80’s, triceratops has always bee up there. My top 3 has changed a bit over the years, but the fact that triceratops has consistently been high up makes me conclude that I might as well consider that to be my favorite.
Besides, it’s like a Rhinoceros but with even more of the cool bits.
Archaeropteryx is also pretty cool if that counts.
But my favorite prehistoric being has to be the trilobite. Cambrian creatures are so fascinating.
When the news broke yesterday:

Everyone was very happy/
Makes sense that the kind of people who would go to a museum (a real one, as opposed to BS like this) would react that way.
We were in a Dinosaur (a.k.a. evolution) museum, so yes, you are exactly right
What’s your favorite dinosaur?
My son asks me that all the time (dinosaurs are his very favorite things).
I’d have to say either Allosaurus or Ankylosaurus, thought there are so many to pick from.
Utahraptor, Microraptor, Camarasaurus (I’ve seen lots of these)
Edit: what’s yours?

I’m also 40something, and my idea changes my. I love exploring them with my son. There’s a lot to like about Triceratops, so that’s a great choice.
Fantastic book in the modern state of dinosaur paleontology: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0062490435 if you are interested.
Thanks for the tip, I’ll be sure to check it out
