Our government is factually not representative of it’s people, never was, and was never meant to be.
Like, there’s the electoral college, there’s unequal distribution of representation, not to even get I to how you had to be a white male landowner for the first couple decades to vote.

Or that someone from Wyoming has between like 10-20x time as much representation as someone from California for every part of the federal government? The House, Senate, and electoral college?

And yes, you should definitely not make plans to I ertgrow the federal government. Especially if that stuff was news to you. Your time would be much better spent learning about how our government works, and what you can do to improve it.

The ACA has worked exactly as it was supposed to, but people are still terrified of Obamacare.
The ACA worked and I’m still afraid of medical bills and avoid medical care because of it. Yay effective government.
