    When you weigh up his reasons for leaving (i.e.,money, reduced playing time?) against all the potential draw backs (i.e., lgbt issues, league with less quality, not picked for euros, leaving role as captain of one of worlds biggest teams, team he’s going to will not be competitive?), it seems like a horrible decision. I guess money talks and that’s the point of the article 🤷‍♂️

      I agree with all the negatives/draw backs… But I can imagine 3 year contract as a starter compared to 2 years not being a clear starter appeals to him.
