I love the world vibe and tricolor, although the turf war grind is pretty boring and I miss ranked modes. Probably not a hot take.
I’m always stoked for a Splatfest, but mostly because it means I’ll actually be playing some Splatoon. I always fall off of multiplayer games after a month or two of their release, but the limited nature of Splatfest and it being built around gameplay rather than missing out on items motives me to hop back on and check it out.
Not necessarily excited about the theme this month, but go Mint Chip regardless!
I’m probably about the same. I like the ice cream colors this time around, though, and I’m pretty excited for tricolor on Barnacle and Dime!
Yeah I feel like that map will be mayhem (and a lot of fun).
@numbscroll First (European) splatfest ever I won’t get to play since I didn’t bring my Switch. Picked Big Man this time around, never tried that ice cream but the green seemed a nice ink color.
I almost went with green too for the ink. Ended up on vanilla, went with my legit favorite flavor of the three.
Food splatfests are so boring. I like splatfests where you can make a character judgement based on what someone chooses. Food preference tells you nothing.
Was the triforce theme more your kind of thing?
Triforce, pokemon, deserted island, mythical beings were all cool.
In the past games I liked hero/villain, retro/modern, etc.
I love that once again a team is cum colered
