Holy shit, was that just a reasoned synopsis that more gun control will have no more effect than it ever did before because most handguns used in violent crime are smuggled in from the US? And that focussing on mental health and social stability are much more important in reducing violence?

I’m having trouble believing my eyes.

Best way to stop gun violence is to lock up violent criminals and remove them from society. Which is the one thing Canadas ““justice”” system refuses to do it seems.

Is that really the best way? I believe studies have shown that harsher punishments don’t deter crime.
