You should absolutely be doing all this in empowered monos, not regular. You will get better drops, experience, and have unlimited corruption available to you.

Higher corruption gains more stability per echo. You also don’t have to do the other quests in empowered, you just kill the boss. Most of my characters start in empowered around level 75-80.
