Today I took my car on the first test drive since I rebuilt the engine. And I noticed that the thermometer didn’t turn on, I thought that it was maybe broken, but it turns out that the sensor wasn’t even plugged in! Took 30 minutes to finagle the connector into the thing without having to take a bunch of stuff off .-.
What dumb thing did you do today?

Hah… for a while I was troubleshooting why my tractor would barely turn on and would not get past an idle, despite removing and cleaning the carb, and trying every combination of choke mixture and engine starter…. As I found out… the throttle cable had fallen off and wasn’t even connected. Now she’s back running smoothly, a 1950’s ford 8n
