    Alberta’s top-paid registered nurse earned more than $510,000 in 2022, according to public compensation lists recently posted online.

    That’s a boatload of money but I can’t imagine what kind of hellish year this person experienced to make it. Staffing should be such that people don’t have the opportunity to put in this kind of time at work, and you would think it would be a better manpower/$ ratio to have more people working less overtime.

      Yeah. It wasn’t that type of money but I have worked jobs where I my earnings outstripped any time to actually enjoy them. No way somebody can actually put in that much without some serious burnout in the long-run though.
