This is like the hot dog conspiracy - they used to sell hot dogs in packs of 10 and buns in packs of 8. So you always had a couple extra dogs and needed to buy more buns. Rinse repeat. Big Hot Dog and Big Bun manufacturers working together to squeeze more $ out of us. But… they have since solved the problem with shrinkflation - hot dogs now sold in packs of 8 (for a higher cost than before). Thank you big Hot Dog for saving us!!

French version is this with red wine+bread+cheese. More reagents means a lesser likelihood of stricking the stoechiometric proportions.

My life + espresso. When my life gets too slow: espresso. When I drink espresso and 10 minutes go by: slow life. I clearly need more espresso. Then suddenly, everything seems ok. I my life is at a good speed, I don’t seem to need espresso… but now I want espresso! Goddammit.

Don’t think I get the whole milk + cookie thing. It’s an actual cookie, right, rather than just the US meaning of biscuits in general?

This is a straight rip off of the Strange Planet cartoon by Nathan Pyle. I have the daily calendar, and this was on it about a week ago.

Edit: so it appears that this is an early version of a cartoon that he redid in the Strange Planet style. I didn’t notice the name, because it’s white on light gray.

Oh wow, I didn’t see it. It makes sense, because I guess he started out writing for buzzfeed. So he recycled his own work.

Strange Planet is one of the few cartoons that my wife and I actually both find funny. Very much worth checking out!

        Thanks for the correction!
