Should have been in Ukraine being used six months ago, but late is better than never.
It sounds like they had a very successful strike on an airbase in Crimea. 4 S-400s, a radar system, and a command center.
Why did they do it in secret?
Opsec and limited powers, it’s right there in the article. If you want to be inflammatory the obvious response is that it was done after Russia was already using the same style of weapon in Ukraine.
Because if you surprise Russia with something like this you have a much bigger impact on their logistics
