It’s not a guaranteed cheat code, it didn’t really work when lidl tried it here in sweden, but it can absolutely work.

In the US, if prices were not going up due to government monetary and other policies, places like Walmart and Amazon would keep there prices low and put the smaller chains out of business (like they did with many others).
