Well that’s horrifying…
Then again I’ve always assumed Elon was an antisemite, he’s dogwhistled it a few times. The fact he so openly made Twitter a breeding ground for antisemites just confirms it for me.
But of course when you point it out to stupid neolibs they just scream “HE PROTECC FREE SPEECH” because they refuse to think critically
(Edit: I should say however that this is regardless horrifying)
This poll is likely very skewed because anyone who bothers to respond is probably doing so because they have a (hate) agenda. The text of the first question could probably have been replaced with “I want to say I am a christian fascist without saying it out loud” and have the same outcome.
There is selection bias probably as well. Those who see the poll are selected in particular way.
Yes, very good point. Selection bias will likely skew any twitter “poll” because the algorithms feed the polls only to what the algorithm believes is the target audience. It’s perpetuating polarization and even extremism because people don’t see rational opposing views that are part of a healthy conversation.
Right like the people who follow these scum bags, but even still this result on a major social media site is a sight I never thought I’d see
Well, yeah. Unless, 56% of my friends and colleagues are Nazi sympathisers. Shit. They’ve hidden it well.
Yeah as much as I hate Elon and Twitter and do in fact think it’s a far right cesspool, Twitter polls are not to be trusted even if they confirm your pre-existing views.
Y’all massively underestimate the amount of trolls who will just pick whatever answer they think is the edgiest. Stop taking shit like this at face value.
You become what you pretend to be. You can’t pretend to be a piece of shit on the internet without embracing the shit.
You may underestimate how close a “joke” answer is to their real answer.
Average Twitter Blue subscriber.
Least fascist Twitter Blue subscriber.
lol if you think this is a “twitter” problem you’re out to lunch
