So, my aunt has no glass recycling, and I’ve come into an array of delightful glass bottles as a result. I would like to try making glass bottle windchimes and I want to print some wind-catching paddles to make them ring.

I have PETG, ABS and PLA.

I know the PLA is right out, and ABS iirc is sensitive to the elements, but its otherwise rather study. If it were painted and sealed, would it tolerate being outside if hung up as decor?

And assuming I went with PETG, how does it do over time? I’ve never used a print outdoors, and when I google, I see some mixed things about direct sunlight tolerance as well as how you need to print things thicker.
