Coming from an Xbox 360 it took me a while to adjust to the stick placement and their convex tips so I was surprised to see that PS3XPAD allowed me to easily use a 360 controller. Since then I’ve even used Logitech controllers as well that share the same driver.
The only issue I’ve come across is with games that use montion controls. I went through the entirety of The Last of Us without charging my flashlight.
Unrelated but Nintendont (a program that allows you to play backed up GameCube games on your Wii) also allows you to do something similar and use PS3 (and many other controllers) on your system.
Sadly it doesn’t work on the newer xbox one or series controllers and hasn’t been updated in a long time. Ended up getting a mayflash magic ns lite which has been fantastic.
