It’s more that my brother does this to me every game. It somehow doesn’t correlate in his mind that he’s also like “help there’s a heavy on me!” every 3 minutes.

Switch to a loud out based on mortar turrets and orbital barrages. Then you will get way more kills than him!

I really should. Then when a Hulk is chasing him, I’ll drop a mortar and tell him “good luck with that”.

Just add a gatling gun to the inventory. My favourite loadout is spear with a gatling. I stay a bit away from the team and use the spear to kill the titans and the gatling to protect myself. Gatling (or any other turret for that matter) is a great distraction.

That’s why Warframe does: number killed and %age of total damage. Will also do minibosses and heavies killed depending on mission.

Joining a group of randos who take every fight, having to solo all the objectives because the randos are still stuck in the first unending fight while time is running down… Extracting just for them to razz you for the least kills…

    A rite of passage

Played a medic in a game and was focused on keeping everyone alive. Then end of round, some shitty kid shouted that I was dead last in kills and was kicked from the team.

    🤦

I pride myself of having the least deaths, most stims used and most stratagems used, most of the times.

This, right here. Getting all the kills doesn’t matter if you’re eating up all the reinforcements and constantly pulling unnecessary aggro across the map in the process. I find that “top fragger” players are insufferable in this game.

I like when games have breakdowns that include damage dealt and boss-specific damage.

That way I can laugh at their puny 1% damage to boss while I have 70% to myself.

Sure I only have 117 kills to your 306, but you can go ahead and feel superior when I’m not reviving you every 15 seconds, keeping the objective clear, AND doing maximum damage while trying to dodge all the ads.

    Give me post-game breakdowns please.

That’s why I play medic and don’t really look at the end stats.

You lived to kill them thanks to me.

(or in other games, it’s thanks to my stepping in front and drawing all their fire that you lived to the end of the round and won, we both know it)

YES! Give me stats for healing, too! Like “medic healed 7 lives worth of your health” and “the medic healed 83 lives of health for the whole party”

Can’t count how many times I’ve gotten shit for low kill counts when I’m literally supposed to hang back away from the fight so I can concentrate on healing. Medics with high kill counts usually* suck at being a medic.

*unless the game gives them awesome shit to do

I would love a different stat that tells you the number of different weight classes you killed, versus just a simple number. Not that there is any actual competition, just bragging rights.

I want tonnage versus kills. Killing hundreds of creepers versus a bunch of heavies will have vastly different total weight.

That’s how they keep count in naval warfare.

If fighting bugs, just take rover.

You can focus on heavies and still come in #1 in kills.

Give each enemy a number value, so that at the end of the mission players are given a score.

This can then be extended to other things such as objectives completed, stims given out, ammo distributed etc.

I mean yeah but it still gives me a good feeling when I see I killed a whole mess of stuff.
