    Thanks! ^^ Selkies are one of my favorite mystical creatures, but in folklore they sadly often end up having to marry the man who stole their skin, or are “released” but end up being so grateful that they stay and still marry the guy anyway. There are far too few stories IMHO where neither one happens.
