I tried using a vertical mouse for a while. Trying to click with it without the mouse moving at the same time made me want to throw the thing across the room. It causes you to grip it much harder than you need to grip a regular mouse which eliminates any ergonomic benefit it theoretically has. If you need ergonomics, focus on the basics like desk, chair, and monitor height.

      Lol, “unnatural”

I use a Logitech Master mx3s and it works great. It doesn’t have the right angle to be considered a vertical mouse, but it’s angle works better for me. I also struggled a bit with vertical mouses, but I believe it was caused by the cheap products I bought and not the angle itself. But for now I’m set with my mx3s.

Yeah I enjoyed the relaxed arm posture but trying to do fine line tracing and clicking in Photoshop made me give up on it

I found the MX Ergo trackball mouse much more enjoyable than a vertical mouse. Which surprised me, because it seems like it’s more of a change, but it felt more natural
