i am not the author of app. I found it and think that need a lot more people helping create this great missing project better…
In my case at least, I am not able to set my location, and cannot access chats. But at least I got matched with a beautiful lady from hamburg
dont allow access your location on browser/gps and you can choose it manually…
on search, I did choose it manually. I’m not sure though how to choose one so that other people can find me
Dev here: It is set automatically if you search for other users
Seems interesting
Wow! It is great!
While is has a lot of potential, it still appears to be buggy and definitely greatly improbable, though.
For example, I can’t find any other user in any location… no idea why.
so help make it better ;)
I wish I could. I am no Java programmer and as a student I have no income to make donations.
The best I can do, as of right now, is to provide feedback. It is also a great contribution: report bugs, issues, missing features, etc.
I donated from my student grant, but of course to projects related to what I needed as student.
Is the minimum age still 16?
Dev here: Minors can’t get matched with adults and will not see them in search, not sure where the problem is
I think it isnt problem. Why you want restrict access for younger people? They dont have rights to find new friends??
Or you wanna rather send them to claws of some proprietary garbage apps which sucks every possible information and sell to anyone for profit.
Beauty of opensource projects is, that anyone can forkit and make own instance with rules which want.
yes
Dang! I wish I could sign up, but every time I try to click on the verification email links and sign in, I get the same error message that says that my account isn’t verified and get a new email of the same type.
I wonder if it’s because I signed up on the site in Spanish?
Dev here: This was a problem because the confirmation URL was also being translated. This has been fixed. Current workaround to confirm your account is requesting a password change.
Thanks!
This is the place to report this.
Looking at the commits it looks like the developer is fixing up stuff.
Thanks for the information! I’ll try to keep it in mind next time. Nevertheless, I wasn’t looking to treat this comment as an error reporting.
