There’s a lot of talking about living in the moment instead of taking photos and videos in the recent years but I’ve kinda arrived at an opposite conclusion. I really value photos taken during various important to me events in the past. I actually return to those photos often and I’m very thankful to the past me who’ve taken them. Of course, it’s not like I’m intentionally staring at my phone all the time. On the contrary, I think I’m relatively free from the smartphone addiction. But if something worth remembering is happening next to me, I will reach for my phone to snap a photo or two before immersing myself in the moment.
