It doesn’t have to be a lie to be disingenuous. The best propaganda is technically the truth but severely misleading. No matter how often you post shit like this, both sides are not the same.

One side wants to turn women into wombs with legs, the other doesn’t.

This is a prime example of whataboutism. On the issue covered by the OP, biden is actually the same as trump, so you decided to change the subject to reproductive rights. We should be able to criticize missteps by the democrats without people like you trying to dismiss it as a generalized “same thing both sides” and trying to change the subject.

If you care about fallacies why skip the dangerous and relevant “both sides” fallacy but stop to point out whataboutism?

Because on this issue, both sides literally are the same. If anything, you’re engaging in the fallacy that because they differ in some ways, that means they differ in all ways.

I don’t get it. Two people stand in the same spot. But they took different routes to get there and they have different destinations. They even stand differently. They don’t talk the same, they don’t dress the same, and in fact one of them looks like they will rob you.

But I guess if the entire point was “Look. Two people stood in the same spot.” then… yes. It’s not a useful observation but it’s technically correct.

Trump was rightfully criticized for his immigration policy. Biden carrying out the same policy should be criticized as well. It’s not as innocuous as simply standing in a spot.

Criticism is as valuable as the metrics and thoughtfulness that went into it. “Both sides” is less than low hanging fruit, it’s rotting, inebriating trash fruit. It’s like an intrusive thought that people need to learn is a simian brain glitch.

The brutal truth of the Biden administration that neither side of the bipartisan divide wants to even look at, is that Biden has delivered on more of Trump’s 2016 campaign promises than Trump.

If you voted for Trump in 2016 Biden is absolutely your guy. He delivered on the promises Trump failed to.

The brutal truth is that you don’t seem to care about the deterioration of civil rights and democracy unless it directly affects you. Yeah, neither option is “good”. But one is clearly worse than the other.

I’m not even sure how I’m supposed to respond to that lack of empathy here. You might be fine with the consequences of your actions here, but most of the people who will suffer because of you and people like you are decidedly not going to be fine with it.

Blame Biden then. Do not blame the voters. It’s 100% on Biden and the Dems if they lose to a convicted felon.

No, I think I’ll blame the voters who don’t at least try to minimize the amount of harm done. I’ll blame the Democrats for running a shit campaign too, but there’s more than enough blame to go around for everyone to get their fair share of it.

(And yes, the people who I’ll blame the most are the Republican voters, but it’s a lost cause trying to reach them.)

Do you mean like an infrastructure bill that Trump promised but failed to pass? I mean I guess we could hang that one on Biden.
