        As great as this article may state it, new medical procedures are always subject to some risk. I am sure the person knew what the risks are. But given the history of black people in the US, this still comes with a bit of a bitter side taste.

          Do you have ANY reason to think he was selected based on skin color?

          That aside, a few things -

          1. If you’re dying, and you qualify to get into a medical trial, you really REALLY want to get into it. Because if you qualify, that usually means you’re out of options and have months to live. People BEG to be let into medical trials.
          2. He’s the 3rd person to undergo the procedure, so get off your fucking high horse. Idiots like you give people fighting for equality a bad name everywhere.
