Here’s the full chronology, just because I feel like writting it out. But the other orders are good for watching them too.

“Young Jedi Adventures” Season 1

“Young Jedi Adventures” Shorts

(Note: These shorts take place sometime between episodes 1 and 3 of Season 1)

“The Acolyte” Season 1 (Spring 2024)

(Note: This series isn’t coming out for a while, but I think it’s safe to say you shouldn’t watch it before you’ve seen any of the films.)

Episode I: The Phantom Menace

Episode II: Attack of the Clones

Star Wars Vintage: "Clone Wars 2D Microseries " Volume 1

(Note: Star Wars Vintage isn’t canon, as these shows were produced before George Lucas started making “The Clone Wars”. I only list them for the sake of completion and because they’re on Disney+, feel free to skip them, though “Clone Wars” in particular is very good.)

(Note: You can also watch the first fifteen minutes or so of Volume 2, before the time jump after Anakin’s knighting.)

Lego Star Wars: “The Padawan Menace”

(Note: Lego Star Wars isn’t canon, it’s all quite silly and exaggerated. I only list them for the sake of completion because they’re on Disney+, feel free to skip them.)

Lego Star Wars: “The Yoda Chronicles”

“The Clone Wars” Seasons 1-7 + Movie (chronological order)

(Note: The last 4 episodes take place during “Revenge of the Sith”, after Volume 2 of the “Clone Wars 2D Microseries”.)

Star Wars Vintage: "Clone Wars 2D Microseries " Volume 2

Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

“The Bad Batch” Season 1

“Tales of the Jedi”

“The Bad Batch” Season 2

Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

Star Wars Vintage: “Ewoks” Seasons 1-2

Lego Star Wars: “The Freemaker Adventures” Seasons 1-2

Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

Lego Star Wars: “Droid Tales”

“The Mandalorian” Seasons 1-2

“The Book of Boba Fett” Season 1

“The Mandalorian” Season 3 (March 1, 2023 - April 19, 2023)

“Skeleton Crew” Season 1 (Winter 2023)

Star Wars Vintage: “Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure”

Star Wars Vintage: “Ewoks: Battle For Endor”

“Resistance” Season 1

(Note: The last 2 episodes take place during “The Force Awakens”, after “The Resistance Rises” shorts.)

“Resistance” Shorts

(Note: These shorts take place sometime between episodes 11 and 12 of Season 1)

Lego Star Wars: “The Resistance Rises” Shorts

Episode VII: The Force Awakens

Episode VIII: The Last Jedi

Lego Star Wars: “All-Stars”

(Note: And this is a continuation of “The Freemaker Adventures” if you enjoyed that series.)

“Resistance” Season 2

“Forces of Destiny” Volumes 1-4

“Galaxy’s Edge” at Disneyland/Walt Disney World

Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker

“The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special”

Lego Star Wars: “Terrifying Tales”

Lego Star Wars: “Summer Vacation”

(Note: These three Lego specials are our only look into the Galaxy post-The Rise of Skywalker, so they’re worth a look.)

“Visions” Volumes 1-2

(Star Wars: “Visions” is an animated anthology, every episode takes place in a different time period and some episodes do not follow the established canon.)

    • Episode 3 is set between 50 BBY and 42 BBY.
    • Episode 1 is set in 36-35 BBY, Ahsoka’s birth and first birthday.
    • Episode 4 is set in 32 BBY, during and after TPM.
    • Episode 5 is set in 19 BBY, during ROTS, with Ahsoka escaping from clones after Order 66. Also flashbacks to a couple of years earlier, when Ahsoka trained with the 501st Legion.
