Since I decided to nuke my reddit account, here’s an archive link to one of my niche posts that has helped people interested in Classical Japanese.

Oh wow this is awesome! I’m not sure if you already mentioned it in your post (I can’t open it right now) but care to share how you got into Classical Japanese (and by extensión Classical Chinese) and how you first learned it?

If you want to approach it in Japanese, one of the Kanbun links in the post should do. For English, there’s “Introduction to Classical Chinese” by Kai Vogelsang, “A New Practical Primer of Literary Chinese” by Paul Rouzer, and you can also check out this link.

Also I got into it by reading Souseki works, such as 草枕, where he actually quotes classical chinese passages.
