Everything they say effectively ends up reading as “anything that stops us from fleecing our customers is bad for the industry. If we fleece them less then how will we afford to keep prices low? This is also bad for the customer.”
It is so intentionally dishonest that reading this article made me feel dirty. Just that feeling that these people would bleed out a small child if it would raise their quarterly earnings. Ethics aren’t actually part of their discourse.
