Meta just announced that they are trying to integrate Threads with ActivityPub (Mastodon, Lemmy, etc.). We need to defederate them if we want to avoid them pushing their crap into fediverse.

      Letting Threads users interact with our users is not zucking on Mark’s schlong. Why are you so interested in building walls between people? Can you explain how Threads could conceivably hurt the Fediverse?
