Probably the aftermath of an emergency responders’ training exercise. The university I work at had a building slated for demolition and the police and firefighters used the opportunity to train with a more realistic response.
Alternately, it was no training exercise and some real shit went down.

You’re right. I didn’t notice. I’ll stand by my initial assessment though. Someone battered those doors open, presumedly to deal with the leak.
Water can be scary, but enough force to open the doors like that would leave visible damage on the walls.
