    How bad was it that it was unanimous? Well, even if it weren’t bad they should still unionize, but wow unanimous? Nice!

      I don’t know about current conditions but I remember reading years ago about how VFX companies are in a perpetual cycle where they work their employees to the bone, cut every corner they can, then close up shop once everyone is burned out and quitting. They basically just declare bankruptcy and shut down, then spin up a new company and start over, and repeat. No chance for employees to build up job security, benefits, seniority, etc.

      Not sure about the conditions, but pretty much every other job function in the film industry is unionized under IATSE already, so it’d kinda be silly not to at this point especially given that the writers and actors are already currently on strike.
