I failed 🙂
This piece of pipe has been in the water for years. It’s been sighted and reported for removal by folks several times. One end of it sticks out of the water, but most of it is underwater and it’s kind of a hazard to motorboat propellers. But mostly it trash that has no business being in our lake.
Luckily, when I saw it this weekend, I had my GPS logger on, so now we have an accurate fix on it. I came back with the kayak yesterday, hoping it would be small enough to drag ashore, but obviously it’s not budging. It’s either very long or stuck to the bottom.
Oh well, it’s someone else’s problem now - someone with a bigger boat than me.
