How does saying over result in not hearing the other?
Also, you say “roger” to confirm you heard something. If the other side doesn’t say roger, you repeat the transmission or say “sayback” to have them confirm what they heard.
And if you missed a transmission or it wasn’t clear, you say “say again your last.”
That’s why you say “over” at the end of every transmission.
