Why are they waiting so long?
Best case scenario is a Metroid Direct, but it doesn’t seem very likely. It’s either a September release, and if so it’s weird that we don’t have a date yet, or something else.
Maybe i’m trippin, but what if MP4 IS the holiday release and the game is so much bigger for Nintendo than anyone expected? In that case it’s probable that we will get a full reveal like the one from the Donkey Kong Direct, that completely changed the perception around the game: from “It looks good” to “I must play this”.

On that note, I hope the direct for Prime 4 is a release day, with a “also, have Prime 2 remaster today” in it to build hype
