Why would you need this? I’m not trying to put you down or anything, I make stuff with questionable utility all the time. Just wondering what your internal rationalizations are. ;) Cool idea and the use of coppar rivets to make the connections is quite clever. Are the connections stable or have you noticed glitches?

The need is the same as any hotswap option, I suppose: To change switches without having to solder :D I had my fun modding it, and am selling it on, hoping someone new to the hobby can use it as a cheap base to experiment on.

There can be glitches in the connection to the switches, but nothing I have seen unresolved by slightly angling the switch pins before inserting them.

As good a reason as any. Keep it up. :)

Yeah, making fool proof hot-swapping isn’t easy or cheap, usually. But good enough is good enough, especially for diy. The fun is in the making anyway.
