Taylor Swift’s favorability among Republicans dropped from 51% to 26% following her endorsement of Kamala Harris in September 2024. A YouGov/Economist poll shows a sharp increase in negative ratings after Donald Trump publicly criticized her. While Swift’s GOP approval has slightly rebounded, it remains well below past levels. With the Super Bowl approaching, backlash against Swift’s presence at Chiefs games is expected to intensify.

Swift was still fairly popular among Republicans until she endorsed Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential campaign.
