Donald Trump suggested Sunday that his new administration could try to regain control of the Panama Canal that the United States 'foolishly' ceded to its Central American ally, contending that shippers are charged 'ridiculous' fees to pass through the vital transportation channel linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
It is little more than a distraction. The big news this week was that Musk nearly got the government shut down so that he could have a provision harmful to his foreign business removed from the bill. As a result, “President Musk” is trending, and Trump doesn’t like that.
Frankly, after worrying about the atrocities his administration will commit, I don’t have the capacity to worry about the nonsense that comes out of his mouth. I already spent 9 years being outraged about his words. I’ll save what’s left for his actions.
Not sure what you’re trying to say? That he didn’t make those threats, or he did but taking them at face value is wrong?

But with that logic, can’t you dismiss just about every stupid and/or outrageous statement Trump makes as a distraction for something else?
