To be honest, I’m with Iran here. They don’t want a war with Israel. They especially don’t want a war with a US backed Israel. They are an oppressive regime, sure, but at least they are trying to be a peaceful one right now.
Sure they want that, but which general? The one Trump murdered, or the one that Israel did recently? Just from the very restrained retaliations from that shows to me that they are doveish. Bibi is hawkish, and wants Trump in the Oval Office.
The isolationism is just a front for Trump wanting the US to switch sides in the global democracies vs. dictatorships divide. He wants to isolate from Europe and ally with Russia, North Korea, Israel.
Trump likes Bibi, and likes Gaza beachfront properties. Bibi needs wars to stay in power. Trump would not only back Israel, they would back Israel’s current genocidal leadership specifically.
Trump’s opinion on Gaza is to let Israel “finish the job”.
