Man, I really need to do a rewatch. I just looked up Vic Fontaine and he’s introduced later in the series than I remember.

Everyone’s fondness for a 60s era Vegas lounge singer program means none of them have a leg to stand.

Soon I’ll be 2 seasons behind on For All Mankind and I’m thinking about a rewatch of some or all of DS9 instead.

Or Farscape, I think I’m overdue for a Farscape run.

Probably similar reasons why Police Squad! (in color) failed, only then for Naked Gun to be a huge hit. Those Zucker style parodies seem to run very hot and cold with audiences, especially on TV. It doesn’t seem to matter all that much how good it is.

I didn’t need more reasons to not go to Disney*, but I’ll add this to the pile.

As a kid I burned the bottom of my foot (enough to cause blistering) on fresh blacktop in Palm Springs. I took 2 steps: the first adhered my flip-flip firmly to the asphalt and the second took my foot out of said flip-flop and landed it right on crazy hot and sticky surface.

Thankfully ublock works just fine in Firefox for android and its derivatives. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t use the mobile web either without it, and then my phone would exist only to mfa things at work.

I’d imagine ublock origin could forever close that pop-up.
