To clarify:

It’s viroids, and they’re inside our guy bacteria. Not free roaming in the gut microbe.

Viroids infect animals, plants, bacteria, pretty much anything living.

So finding them in gut bacteria isn’t really that groundbreaking.

Like, cool, we have proof now. But with as much bacteria in the gut…

It would be weird if there was no viroids.
