It’s absolutely unreal how influential Netscape was in popularizing the web and really the entire Internet. Before Netscape, there was no https, no Javascript, no rendering on the fly, no cookies. I mean two of those were not the greatest inventions, but you can’t deny how influential they were in setting the standard.
