I saw that “api usage audit” message too a few days ago! didn’t screenshot and then it was gone. and nobody talked about it anywhere on reddit even though it’s new official comments from the admins, like wtf
Good for you Reddit refugee.
Oddly enough I can sign back in now? I’m not sure what’s going on with it but the timing is suspicious at the very least.
edit: Here’s the link that Click Here takes you to
Probably there was just something in your browser cache that caused it.
Now that your cache has been cleared you should have no trouble with your main account.
Who deleted your account? You or them?
I deleted my alt account, this was on my main right after…which will get deleted soon as well
I read somewhere that instead of deleting your account, it’s better to ghost it or scrub your posts from the site. I’m a 12 yr acct so I want to make the best choice.
This is what I did.
I already scrubbed both accounts
Over the course of days/week(s), you should slowly edit all of your old comments and posts into gibberish, and mark your posts as NSFW. Later, slowly start deleting posts/comments so that you won’t be a target of their rollbacks.
probably a cookie thing
Sir, this is Lemmy.
I’m on kbin.
“The Fediverse”
Every time I see that word I think of Kevin Federline/K-Fed, and I swear my blood pressure jumps at least 3 points at the thought of a K-Fediverse.
I do wish kbin showed the magazine instance on the very top instead of bottom of the comments. Or on a side bar.
It does show it on the sidebar. To access the sidebar on mobile, tap the hamburger menu in the top left and scroll down just a little. This keeps your place in a thread when you exit the hamburger menu, and you don’t have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page anymore.
Thanks for the tip
Woah! Thankyou that helps a ton
Thanks. You are awesome.
So for me, it does (at least on desktop). Next to the kbin logo it would say “/m/technology@lemmy.ml” as an example. However, this doesn’t work on mobile, since there’s not enough screen real estate. In that case, what @atocci posted is the only way I know of.
fuckin owned
I’m at the combination lemmy and kbin
this is a kbin magazine heh
OP posted to kbin, which was replicated to Lemmy
I misread your post initially. I though you had used one of the tools to delete all your posts, and got the “your account has been deactivated”.
