Standard plan can add 1 extra member.

Premium plan can add up to 2 extra members.

Nangyari na din sa bahay at dito sa Condo ko. Though ndi pa naman ako binalikan to re-verify it. Also yung ibang household din na kaka-connect sa akin.

Haven’t had this happen to me yet. We live one barangay away from my family. Not exactly sure how Netflix is going to track this. I also have multiple ISP’s on our house. (2 fiber, 1 gomo). How would that work?

Looks like two isp with different external ip considered different household. Sa way pag track nila is through external ip at yung device id.

Yeah really fucked up. With the way ISPs are in the Philippines. One ISP is just not enough for a household that is dependent on online connectivity as it’s main source of income.

How is this going to affect me? Bali I’m paying for netflix, pero shared it to my brother na nakatira sa kabilang kanto. Sila yung may smart tv…

Based sa info sa netflix i think yung most used na device ata medyo malabo if higher priority tung my smart tv.

While I get the point of it and laki ng lugi ni Netflix because of those “Netflix sharing” services, the downside is nadamay mga may legit reasons para mag-share ng accounts.

Like in our case, ang nanonood lang sa amin is my dad, me, and the sisters - so 3 profiles out of the 4. Since we all went our separate ways, sayang na babayaran pa namin 3 different subscriptions for the same purpose/usage.

I feel that this was already priced in given the number of allowed people that can share an account.

They are not losing money because of this. This is just greed. They are still in the green and are extremely profitable, 4.2B from apr 2022-mar 2023

problem is, they want perpetual growth so they cut shows and try to take more from consumers.

          tangina dami nilang pera.

One week daw yung validity, then kelangan i-verify uli.

Although parang sa mga smart TV lang sya nagiging issue. Pag nag-screencast ka from mobile di naman daw ganyan ang nangyayari.
