On the one hand, nonces are raising a glass to this. Perhaps a stiff 7 year old scotch
realistically end-to-end encryption is public knowledge. Even if they stopped selling Signal or whatever in the app stores people would still get it
I think that the parent comment was making a pun rather than giving a serious concern.
