    Translation:

“The Royal Spanish Federation presented to UEFA its letter of threat to the Government last Friday before the suspension of Rubiales by FIFA was known. 📌 Andreu Camps threatens the Government before UEFA to save his boss Luis Rubiales 👉 Rubiales’ mother goes on hunger strike until the “hunt” for her son is solved”

Jesus Christ, how many bodies did this guy bury? Dude, you were out of touch and gross and basically committed “minor” sexual assault on live TV, yet due to an ongoing culture of permitting men to do what they want, all that was going to happen was you had to negotiate a settlement and resign. That is a sweetheart deal.

Going with the nuclear option instead is an interesting tack.

Threatening the nuclear option because you don’t want to accept appropriate disciplinary measures when someone did something stupid and offensive is certainly one way to be a global brand.

How’s the money situation here? I know Spain has two of the top 5 biggest clubs, but will it be a big money loss for UEFA/FIFA if they leave?

Barcelona and Real Madrid probably calling other FAs right now asking how they can get in. Champions League money is a HUGE fucking deal for those two clubs.
