    Would love to know what in the world is slowing Liverpool down with these negotiations. Probably the best player in the world in his position, and a club legend having a great season so far.

      From my read of the situation, I don’t think the ownership want to pay the man his money. A contract extension should in theory be extremely simple to achieve, but it basically guarantees that he leaves on a free next year. They want to recoup his value, and that’s looking a little impossible right now.
