More like WWE Friday Night F1
I really wonder what being there brings that watching the event live from home does not. (it has been confirmed that the event will be broadcasted live: “Fans who cannot attend in person will still be able to watch the action live, with broadcast details and further event information to follow in the coming weeks.” )
I imagine the same benefit from seeing any particular event in person.
I was thinking of benefits along the lines of merch shop, meet’n’greet, possibility to get autographs, etc. It is not clear if there will be such things ATM.
Owkay… I mean the only decent thing here is the teams all releasing in the one day rather than dribs and drabs, but to be fair that approach allowed them to stall and play games which was all part of the hype and shit stirring.
They’ll likely spam loads of teasers for hype before that show though. I don’t think it’ll be much different, except the final reveal will be at the same time.
Nothing beats that Ferrari reveal: some hype stuff, car unveiled, off to the test track you go.
Everything else is just a boring press conference, might as well do it all at once. We already know that Ferrari will be red, red bull will have the same livery they had in the last 20 years, mercedes will be silver, McLaren that dreadful orange, Aston is using the Aston green and nobody cares about the others.
Just wait a few days and see it for free on YouTube or everywhere else. It’s only gonna be carbon fiber with sprinkles of colour here and there anyway so not much to miss.
Iiiiiiiiiiitttttt’''ssss ttttiiiiiimmmmmeeeeee !!!
Would have preferred an earlier date, like start of Feb instead of the middle of the month…
