    I was unsure about this as I read the start of the article. The territories system allays most of my concerns though. It basically puts the onus on you to go and pro-actively defeat the worm that owns the territory before expanding into it.

    If it had been the case where the worms can come and attack you wherever you are, I think that would have been a nightmare. Glad there seems to be a reasonable balance.

      Yeah, the first paragraph would have completely ruined the game for me, but the territory system actually sounds fun and sort of makes these minibosses.

      Totally agree!

      My 2 friends don’t read any news, so I can’t wait to send my friends to vulcanus, and see their reaction when the first worm comes and destroys the base when they expand into its territory haha

    I love how they managed to make something that likely plays very differently from biters, requiring different strategies, but still keeping up with the same “bug” theme. It might be a work in progress but so far it looks exciting.
