    I’ll be happy if this means getting actual 1080p video from their streams. It’s insane to me that they have all this tech and still steam in 720p

    Live launches, documentaries etc; I can get behind this streaming service.

    Sounds like they’re mainly doing a big update to the app with a focus on streaming. Long overdue. Looking forward to this! Especially the launches

    I remember that at least around 2000, they streamed video on the MBone, which was probably a lot more bandwidth-efficient then any streaming service today.

    Exciting news. I loved watching the nasa channel when I was younger. It had lots of boring content, but was the only way I knew how to watch launches when you are nowhere near a spaceport/launchsite.

    Hope the put some funding towards educational content.
