The good thing is: the customer obviously has a good ear.
Sounds like a nice easy fix. I once had to strip out seats and carpet and the centre console to find a ball bearing inside a welded cavity in the floor of a Prius.

How much did they charge for the service?
Probably $200 for initial diagnostic and a minimum 1 hour of $150/hr mechanic labor, if my last experience at the dealer taught me anything (yes I am bitter)
