The idea that one in five Mexicans is a vegetarian seems implausible.
Wikipedia says 8% vegetarian and 4% vegan, citing 2016 data.
So 4% vegan and 4% vegetarian?
I’m actually kind of shocked the scale tops out at 20%. There are a couple places that I assumed would be closer to one in four or maybe one in three, but I guess I’m way off.
The UK in particular I thought would be higher but some places like Australia I would’ve guessed lower.
Interesting data.
