weed is VERY cheap in Michigan. An ounce of flower can go anywhere from 60 to 100USD. If you spend a hundred you got something special.

I could easily handle an oz a month. Maybe not with my tolerance levels as they are right now :) but that would change very quickly.
When I used to get through a lot, I was finishing an 8th every couple of days, and that was with some semblance of restraint.
Man, most of the potheads I know would laugh at that amount of weed in only a month. I used to know a guy that would kill a pound of weed in two weeks. Mids, tbh, but still.

I know potheads that spend more on weed than they do on housing/rent. Shit, my cousin kills an ounce in a week at roughly 120 an ounce, which is about the same as my mortgage.

Well, I speak for myself when I say your numbers don’t add up. I struggle to believe the one guy you knew would scoff at 2500$ a month on weed, the only way the guy you knew smokes that much is if he has crazy disposable income and wastes weed. Either that or he knows someone who grows or grows himself.
As for your cousin - 500$ a month on weed still takes 5 months to get to these numbers. You show someone 5 months worth of weed in one package and they’ll absolutely be overjoyed.

Let me switch things up. I don’t particularly care what you believe. I’m not aware of current weed prices everywhere, so I may have misestimated. This is still irrelevant to the fact that this ain’t some kind of trial where precision and exact measures are required or something bad happens. This is just folks chewing the fat digitally.
I already said elsewhere that the dude, one dude smoked weed like cigarettes. Even to the point of chain smoking. I did not, and do not, know if he grew his own, I just know that he had a lot of the stuff at all times. He said several times he would go through a “brick” every other week, with a brick being local terminology for a pound.
Based on prices around here, 2500 isn’t that much weed. But people do grow their own because they can. Lotta little hollows and hard to find plots of land up in the hills, and the soil is good.
